Our son Niklas has been working with Ryan and Catch and Throw for a year now and the amount of improvement in all aspects of his skills has been tremendous. His throws now range between 1.8 and 1.95 and his footwork has improved dramatically. Has really embraced the intricacies of the catching position and enjoys all of the hard work and sweat that goes on during his workouts.

Ryan worked with our ten-year-old son, Lukas for about 4 hours over a two-day period for some intensive catching lessons. Lukas learned in those four hours, the equivalent of weeks and weeks worth of exercises, proper technique and catching strategies. Ryan worked on the basic techniques which immediately and significantly modified Lukas' stance and throwing mechanics. When we saw Lukas playing during his next baseball game, we noticed subtle improvements immediately. He was able to move better behind the plate, kept his chest forward, called out plays and outs to his teammates and actually looked more confident. Lukas loved having Ryan as an instructor and mentor. Ryan related to Lukas on his level, was very clear and concise, made the workout very tough yet age appropriate and in the end, made the athlete more confident. Lukas listened closely to all of Ryan's instructions and took each and every technique to heart. Lukas is not ready for the big leagues yet, not even close, but Ryan showed Lukas that with hard work, dedication and proper techniques, his dream is not out of reach.

Coach Ryan and the Catch and Throw staff taught me how to properly catch, block, throw, and approach the game. I went from a backup on the Junior Varsity team to a 1st team All Conference Catcher in just one season. Coach Ryan taught me how to use my body and understand how balance effected how I received the ball. My pop time went from a 2.4 to 1.97 in the game and I recorded at 1.91 in a college showcase.
